Colorful Mixed Media Canvas

Hi everyone, I'm back again with mixed media canvas that I was inspired by Finnabair. 

What a lot fun playing with color spray, mica powder and being messy.

And especially this mixed media canvas that I created using a crochet hook which is  inspired by My lovely Mama when I saw her doing crochets which gave me some ideas.

February 2016 "White with a Twist" Challenge...

Hi scrap friends,

This month  Scrapping Outback Challenge is to use all the colours as seen in this inspiration photo..

Light blue, dark blue, yellow/orange, red and green. 

And here is the page I created for the challenge...

I'm so happy to have my mum in here with me in Brisbane. She likes crochet very much... 

She made some crochet flowers for  me to used in my scrapbooking. 

So I created this page to dedicate for my lovely Mama xx

"ADORE" Mixed media Canvas

Hi Scrap Friends,

I would love to share with you today what was created using some colors and also the Magnolia Lane Collection. Inspired by Louise Nelson using crackling paste and seed beads, I tried to create a mixed media canvas.

So first I covered the  canvas with black gesso after that I put on crackles paste to all the frame edges then ink so that it looks like an cracked old vintage frame. I also put embossing powder in the background and die cutting. I still like doing fussy cut to make layers and sprinkle the seed beads randomly on the frame

After a long holiday I come back again. 

So this is my first page layout that I have created in the new year 2016. 

I used the  Magnolia Lane Collection designed by Sue Smyth.  That's a so very beautiful collection.

I am doing fussy cut for some paper to decorate my page. Ink daubers up with ink and shade to the flowers.  Distress the edges of all the pieces of cut paper and ink.

I put stamps randomly on the paper background.
