Happy Christmas - Scrapmatts DT December 2018

Hello everyone...

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your precious time with family and friends. Also I hope you have a blessed New Year, may 2019 be full of wonderful things and happiness. 

Today I'm sharing with you two projects I have created using some awesome Scrapmatts chipboard pieces and stencils. The products I have used are perfect for the December inspirations.

The first project I've made is a mixed media frame. 

I made this to remember my first time in the snow when I was holidaying at  New York early this year in January 2018.

Christmas Creations - Scrapmatts DT November 2018

Ho..ho..ho... Hello my dear friends only three more days and we will be in December! 

yeppp Christmas just around the corner.

This got me busy creating for Christmas and  today I get to share two mixed media projects with you.

First up is...  "Season's Greetings Ornament"

 I have painted the Scrapmatts Snowflake ball ornament wooden and chipboards with Starlights Platinum metallic, LSG Sea Mint Green and also I've heat embossed tittle in black.

Last but not the least is a "Believe Tag"

Using the large thick chipboard 3,5"x 8,5" tag to created my mixed media Christmas tag. I used a lot of different medium to create my background including glitters, waxes and some micro beads.

"CAPTURED THE MOMENTS" - DT Layout for Scrapmatts October Inspiration

 

Hello everyone,

Novita here with you today and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. 

Today I am up on the Scrapmatts blog and I have a new layout to share with you. 

Here is my mixed media layout...............

"CAPTURED THE MOMENTS"

I created a mixed media background using  some texture paste with Scrapmatts stencil and once this background dried I've added some stamps here and there and then I splatters ink paints randomly.

Here are some close up photos....

Some chipboards I inked with Jet Black and Brown Archival Ink pad and also heat embossed with the Aged Bronze Embossing Enamel powder. 

While they were drying I started embellishing my layout until I was happy with the finished page. For finall touch I added some Henna Mica Flake and made some splatter with white gesso that I mixed with water.

You Make Me Smile Layout - Scrapmatts August DT 2018

Novita here with you today. I hope you're having a lovely August so far and also had a wonderful weekend.

Today I'm sharing a mixed media layout that I created using Scrapmatts chipboard pieces and stencil.

Close To My Heart Canvas - Scrapmatts DT July 2018

Hello everyone, 

I am here with you today to share a creation for Scrapmatts. This time I have a canvas to share with you all.... 

"CLOSE TO MY HEART"

For this creation I have used the gorgeous frame chipboard and photo of my lovely sister and I that taken few years ago when I back home to visit my family. 

 And here are the close ups.....

I used lots of  different medium to create my background, including stencilling, stamping and art stones too. I started by coating the canvas area with black gesso. Once the canvas was dried, I used stencil and sponged heavy white gesso and I painted the background with some colours and then I added some random stamping with white ink colour. 

As a finishing touch, with my finger I applied random some white gesso and ink colours in all of the edges of the chipboards to give a softer effect.

Mixed Media Layout - Scrapmatts DT

Hello my dear crafty friends, 

Here we are in June and this is the last week of this month.... wowww time flies by! I hope you are getting some creative time in each day! 

I have been having a lot of fun  with mixed media, so today I would love to share a mixed media layout that I made and hope I will inspire you to create a masculine layout too. 

Here is my mixed media layout..... 

I created a mixed media background using  some texture paste with Scrapmatts stencil and then with a wet brush I painted randomly with Lindys Stamps Gang ink sprays. Once this background dried I've added some stamps here and there. 

Here are some close up photos....

Some chipboards I inked with Jet Black Archival Ink pad and when the chipboard cogs were dry I added a bit of pigment ink "Cosmic copper" and "Galaxy gold" on top to give the effect of rust marks. 

While they were drying I started embellishing my layout until I was happy with the finished page.

UNBELIEVABLY BLEESSED - Guest DT for Celebr8

Hello everyone,

I was delighted to have been asked  to be a Guest Designer for Celebr8  and I can't describe how excited I am to be able to share the project that I've created using Celebr8 new "THANKFUL" collection. 

Celebr8 are showcasing some of wonderfully talented Aussie designers after their visit to Australia for the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo in Brisbane few weeks ago...
